STRESS

It's almost March. My profession is in the middle of a freefall (I'm from Wisconsin, yo). My husband and I stand to take a paycut of around $1,000 a MONTH together very soon. The stress is getting to me. I'm trying to do all the things that I know: take baths, read, walk, talk to my husband, etc. I used to tell people those things all the time-but I didn't have a 7 month old then. It's so different.
I'm afraid we won't be able to afford to have another child.
I'm afraid we won't be able to find the second jobs we'll now need to pay the mortgage.
I'm sad. I miss Sophie and Aiden.
I can't even bring myself lately to read blogs, which is ALWAYS my safety net.
I guess I just need a break. Not really sure.
Just wanting to give an update and let you know I'm still here and I'm always thinking of you.

xoxo

So sorry to hear of all these stresses. I'm also stressed for my own reasons, and although I'm reading a book on how to destress, count to 7, take deep breaths, etc., I also find that I can't stop the stress. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers that things will turn around soon.

Oh no so sorry to hear this. Praying that you will be able to find some way to make it all work. I know that stress can be so overwhelming.
I will send some prayers your way ((HUGS))

Makes me sick to think that they would cut the pay for our teachers and be paying congressmen that have been out of office for years! I'm sorry you're going through this and the stress is overwhelming! I like to listen to music when I'm stressed, try NeedtoBreathe! :)

I'm sorry about all your stresses. It is a shame what educators all over the nation are going through. We should be appreciated! (I am a retired teacher). I'm praying for you. And I don't think I have told you, but your new blog look makes me smile. I love the bright colors. xoxo

Oh no! We have been working without a contract for the last 3 years and have not gotten a raise in about 5. With the cost of living going up, I see more and more of my colleagues struggling to make ends meet so I completely sympathize. That is a big pay cut and I am praying that these idiots gain some sense! So sad that those of us who decide to serve get penalized.

Oh no, you don't need another thing to worry about. I hate it that this is hanging over your heads. I hope things change and it doesn't happen, with all my heart!
I wish you could get away for a while with Avery and your hubby and soak up some sun.

I am so sorry! We are/have been in the same boat, and I KNOW HOW HARD what you're living with is.
