I am so blessed. Despite being told at Christmas dinner that I needed to "get over it" because a miscarriage is just a "bad seed," I recovered and reminded myself how lucky I am (hence the post that might have shown up in your reader and then disappeared) and tried not to let it ruin my time.
I hope your holiday was peaceful. You were all on my mind. We are at my mom's relaxing-A is taking a nice, long nap and we are relaxing in front of a fire. xoxo

Merry Christmas Christy! Avery is so sweet! I can't believe someone said that to you. They obviously do not know that what you had were two beautifully perfect babies, not a miscarriage. I'm so sorry, but it sounds like you recovered from their remarks gracefully. Thinking of your WHOLE family tonight and always.xx
Glad to hear that, despite a thoughtless remark, you were able to have a nice Christmas. Avery is adorable!
Aw, what a cutie! And I'm sorry those words were spoken. Just awful!
I hate people calling our babies "miscarriages." A miscarriage is horrible... but that isn't what happened.
Miss A is so sweet!
People who say such nonsense have NO idea what they are talking about. And need to be beaten. Seriously.
I'm so sorry. Many hugs... Many, many hugs...
One of these days...someone is going to say something like that to me and you may see me on CNN for God only knows what I did in response. Seriously, I am SO sorry people not only feel that way but HAVE THE NERVE to voice it. I'm very impressed you were able to overcome and still find blessings. Good for you--that's the road I always want to take but sometimes fall from!

Oh, wow, I don't think I could get past a comment like that. I'd have torn up some bootay.
But I'm glad you didn't let it spoil your Christmas overall. Miss Avery is just too adorable in her red overalls! :)
